Chris joined the team in August of 2023 as a contracted instructor to help while Rachel was on maternity leave and we were fortunate to keep her through the rest of the school year and have her on board for the 2024-2025 school year. We love her enthusiasm and joy of teaching agriculture to our local students.
Chris worked as a school nurse for the Midland Community School District before retiring. After retirement she was the Jones County Agriculture in the Classroom Instructor and still substitute teaches in the Midland schools.
Chris and her husband Skott reside on a farm outside of Monmouth where they have a row crop, beef herd, and hay operation. They have two grown children. Chris and Skott have entered the world of bee keeping in the past couple years and it has quickly grown into a passion for Chris.
